I bought my scanner new from ebay for $20. It handles CAN protocol connects to my laptop with USB or BT and is usable from many software apps.
There are many software apps that are easy to get have way more functionality than the handheld scanners. I can do everything from find a failing sensor to reprogram the fuel delivery curve.<br>
